No payment card data is stored by us.

3. Use of Information

We process information to:

Provide and maintain the Service
Facilitate childcare management operations
Send transactional notifications (SMS and email)
Ensure safety tracking and operational reporting
Process billing and subscriptions
Improve Service performance

4. SMS Communications (A2P Compliance)

4.1 How We Collect Phone Numbers

Phone numbers are collected voluntarily during account registration. Users may provide a phone number on the sign-up form when creating an admin, staff, or parent account. Providing a phone number is optional.

4.2 How Phone Numbers Are Used

By providing a phone number, users consent to receive transactional SMS messages from Iron Babies (a product of Aligned Systems LLC) via Twilio, including:

Check-in/check-out confirmations
Session time alerts and overtime notifications
Incident notifications
Organization announcements

No marketing or promotional messages are sent. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

4.3 Opt-Out and Help

Users may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. For assistance, reply HELP.

4.4 Mobile Data Protection

We do not sell or share mobile or personal data with third parties, affiliates, or partners for marketing or promotional purposes. We only share data with third parties when it is strictly necessary to deliver our service and only under binding agreements that ensure confidentiality. Under no circumstances will mobile data be shared or sold for advertising or promotional use.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell personal data.

We may share data with trusted service providers solely for operational purposes, including:

Supabase (database hosting)
Vercel (hosting)
Stripe (billing)
Twilio (SMS delivery only — no marketing)
Resend (email delivery)

6. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable safeguards including:

Encryption in transit and at rest
Secure authentication (JWT)
Password hashing (bcrypt)
Organizational data isolation

However, no system is completely secure.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Organizations may request deletion of data at any time. Upon deletion, data is permanently removed. No copies are retained except as required by law.

8. Children's Information

We collect child-related information only as provided by parents/guardians or authorized staff. Children do not directly interact with the Service.

9. Data Ownership

All data entered by organizations remains their property. We act solely as a data processor.

10. User Rights

Users may request access, correction, or deletion of their data by contacting support@ironbabies.com

11. Changes

We may update this Policy at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
